Mokmyeoksanbang has tight yet polished, warmly lit interior. On warmer days, al fresco dining offers a nice view of the busy Myeongdong street and the urban trail below, and the Namsan tower with hovering cable cars above.

The inviting smell of sesame seed fills the dining room the moment our orders are served: Bulgogi bibimbap (불고기비빔밥), mixed rice topped with grilled and sweetly marinated beef; Sanbang bibimbap (산방비빔밥), a meat-less variety named after the mountain cabin (Sanbang); Jujube tea (대추차), a sweet-smelling tea made from Korean dates; and Citron tea (유자차), made from the citrus fruit yuzu.

Mokmyeoksanbang serves Korean dishes ranging from 6,000 to 28,000 won and teas ranging from 4,000 to 5,000 won. To get there, walk along the road leading to the Namsan Cable Car Station and climb up the stairs toward the center of Namsan Park.
